responsible for high-traffic financial transactions and system stability.
Key Responsibilities:

Owned end-to-end system design and delivery for large-scale applications, overseeing
architecture, development, deployment, and post-production operations to ensure
reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Led and mentored cross-functional engineering teams (3–10 engineers) through system
design, code reviews, and execution planning, aligning technical delivery with
business and regulatory priorities.

Designed and operated high-throughput, fault-tolerant systems, including idempotent
transaction flows, duplicate handling, and failure recovery, reliably processing
50K+ transactions/hour while reducing financial and operational risk.

Served as DRI for mission-critical production systems, leading incident response,
root-cause analysis, and long-term improvements; owned large-scale user migrations
(5M+ users, near-zero downtime, zero data loss) and executed Python/Django upgrades
to improve security, performance, and platform longevity.

Developed an end-to-end architecture and production operations of large-scale QR
payment
platforms (Fonepay, NepalPay), designing transaction processing flows, ensuring high
availability, scalability, and compliance with regulatory requirements while
supporting
millions of daily transactions.

Architected and delivered multiple payment platforms and services, including DaamiQR
(user engagement & campaign platform), Inter-Wallet Fund Transfer (IWFT),
AutoPayment (recurring payments), and Khalti Escrow Service, enabling secure fund
holding, seamless wallet-to-wallet transfers, and automated subscription and bill
payments at scale.

Built and integrated cross-border and multi-network payment systems, implementing
real-time currency conversion, enhanced security controls, and integrations with
multiple external payment networks via secure, well-defined RESTful APIs for web and
mobile clients.

decisions, API standards (Django REST Framework), code reviews, automated testing,
and
